Video summary: decrease volume and maintain intensity
Why would you put called an ambulance when you didn’t even call an ambulance that’s fake
I think I enjoyed this even more than if you had been able to show the full video. you do such a good job of describing everything that it feels like we are transported there ourselves.
Ha ha this is wildly impressive!!!
So how is the relay pool selected then ?
Great video nick
You're obviously a great athlete! You undoubtedly have the "lungs" for it! But spare 2 - 3 minutes to explain to me: 1st you don't seem to have the appropriate body for middle distance running. Not at all. You're too packed. You look like an actor who's playing a role, than a real athlete! 2nd your hand movement is, at least awkward or even funny! Moving a lot latteraly, like no one has ever taught you how to run! But things about you are like you're saying I'm gonna do it, because I want it! And somehow it does happen! What is your explanation for this. Now that it is, even for you, a piece of history. Technique or ideal body is really of minor importance? At such high level of competition? If somebody just told me I would have said that this couldn't happen! Well it could... but only in the movies! Don't take me wrong I fully admire what you did! But how on earth did you manage to do it?
Nick leaving that guy hanging before hugging his mom😢
Mid distance
I live in a region that is know for extremely hot summers which is imposible to run outside. Even in the winter the weather can vary a lot. So I think for me a treadmill is a great investment at least for summer workouts
You sleep one 3rd of your life how much more rest do you need … David Goggins
Running outside is far superior
very helpful
Oh my goodness, you went down 25 pounds 😭
"In the Northeast where indoor track is still huge, like wouldn't you rather get on a plane and fly down to Florida?" No, I don't have that type of money.
5:24 😂😂 i waiting for this moment
Funny fact? I stopped running outdoors after an astrophysicist from MIT called me up one day and said that i might cause the days to shorten by increasing the earth's rotation speed. Yeah.
One time I spinted the whole 400m in cross country and I came 1st with a time of 59 seconds and I'm 10

I’m not interested in racing exactly. I have to run a 1.5 mile fitness test once/year and that’s my only actual “race.” At my age I have to do that I’m 13:11 minutes. As a 235lbs guy that competes in strongman, weightlifting, and powerlifting, that’s not super easy for me. I run 4x’s/week with 3 outdoor runs plus I do one high intensity run on a treadmill when I do Norwegian 4x4. For someone who’s not a runner, that particular workout would be difficult to track and maintain a pace I’m trying to hit for without using the treadmill.
lol “ yeah I made 7 figures “ 😂
You didn’t even answer dudes 1st question fr
If I lose 12 kg fat will it can improve my timing by 19 seconds in my 800m as present timing is 2:30
I ran 29 minute 5k yesterday, my PR is 21:12 came in third . I was really sick night before, race morning felt 90 percent , never had a fever. It was tough my friend came in second and I usually beat her ever race, winner ran 24:45 . 1st place got $50 gift card , I still got $20 gift card, I was thinking if I was 100% could got first but I was happy I felt well enough to race, tough when sick 😢
I have vision issues and only use of one eye. Treadmills allow me to run in a safe environment whereas I wouldn’t be able to run.
Mf business evrything business
I've been racing and training with spikes on for a while and I always thought I was running faster in them but then I started video recording my 100 meter sprints and I run just as fast with spikes on as I do with normal running shoes. Why is that? Weak feet?
I run the mile on my first year in track and my best time was 6:29. I’m the worst mile runner in my grade by only about ten seconds. I just got spikes for my meet in a couple days and I hope to get around 6:10
i watched it and ran a mile 3 minutes after and my time went from a 6:02 to a 5:59 and i’m in seventh grade 12 years old
kipchoge runs a 350 mile
You haven't trained through 120F heat
I can only run on treadmill using Zwift so I feel I’m going somewhere
I feel like this the one challenge I could possibly beat Nick in 😂
Respect to youuu❤❤❤❤❤
Remember we are just humans.. flesh and bones… meat that rotten…the only thing last forever is our soul and what we made in life 😊
I was there, in that thunderous noise, adding my voice. I have watched that race probably 15-20 times. But I never seen nor heard any responses from the participants. This was truly enjoying hearing your analysis. Thank you.
There is a most efficient form for each person and nobody begins running with that form. As noted, each body is different so you must train and practice ideal forms to find yours. My 6th grade son has become a phenom but his first ever XC race his hands were by his waist while the more experienced runners run from the elbows. I explained this to him and his next race he tried it and said it made a big difference. We have been improving his form with almost every race. Steady head, eyes up, running tall instead of hunched over a bit etc. There's different form based on speed, too: sprinters don't run with the same form as Kipchoge. There's technique to learn and as a middle distance runner you should learn how to use both. Hope this all makes sense and is helpful.
Recently be getting into these. Very helpful!
As a freshman my mile time was a 7:30 and my 800m time was 3 minutes now as as a Sophomore my mile time is 5:50 and my 800m is 2:34 still more improving to do I'm gonna keep going !
bro i feel this man cuz i've been kinda washed for my last 2 meets
10:58 kkkkk
I do 200,400 and 800m I really need your help
1 of 10 on form
The greatest 800 ever. EVERYONE brought their best including you!! ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE
This is so inspirational. As a former collegiate 60m, 1,2,400m guy that is 27 now and just running city marathons with occasional sprint workouts to stay in shape and have fun, it’s so amazing to think back on old races and feel those moments again. That feeling you had winning the trials must’ve been incredible. Keep up the great work! Love the videos.
Awesome nick you are flying !
Dude running under a 4 min mile is insane!!!!! Props
And the WR still stands!
